Worship Service 9:00 AM Sunday

Brothers and Sisters….
Are you a born-again Christian starving for spiritual nourishment (God’s Word)?  Are you thirsty for Biblical Truth (The Whole Truth)?  Do you believe that God is more than just Love?
Do you understand that you are temporarily in the world but not of it?  Do you want to serve Christ in His Way and not the world's way?  Are you tired of rock music, Christian clowns, latte and entertaining preachers?  Are you weary of wandering from church to church in a “Christian” wilderness seeking the bread of life?
Then leave the worlderness and come to the green pastures at Risen Savior Bible Church in the old Clark Oil building across from the water tower.
We feed the Sheep every Sunday at 9:00 AM

RSBC is a Biblically committed church. That means that this church belongs to Jesus Christ and that we believe the Bible to be the pure, complete, absolutely true Word of God. We will preach and teach the whole counsel of the Word of God.

In the book of Matthew chapter 16 verse 26 a couple of interesting questions are asked. "?For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?? God addresses those questions in the Bible.

a. All people are sinners, that is to say, we have all broken God’s laws.

(Rom. 3: 10-18; Rom. 3: 23; James 2: 10)

Rom. 3: 23 ?For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;?

b. The penalty of sin is death. (Ezek. 18: 4; Rom. 5: 12; Rom. 6: 23)

Ezek. 18: 4 ?Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sinneth, it shall die.

c. People cannot save themselves from the penalty of sin. (Prov. 14: 12; Eph. 2: 8, 9; Gal. 2: 16; Titus 3: 5)

Eph 2: 8, 9 ?For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:? 9 ?Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Gal. 2: 16 ?Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.?

d. Jesus Christ is God's only plan for our salvation. (John 14: 6; Acts 4: 12; 5: 6 - 8; Rom. 10: 13; 1 Cor. 15: Gal. 2: 21; Eph 2; 1 Peter 3: 18)

John 14: 6 ?Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

1 Cor. 15: 3, 4 ?For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;? 4 ?And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures

Gal. 2: 21 ?I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.?

e. Finally, we must repent of our sin and by faith believe in and receive Christ as Savior.  (John 1: 12; 10: 9, 10; 2 Peter 3: 9)

Rom 10: 9, 10 ?That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.? 10 ?For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

2 Peter 3: 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
